    • Rotated tires front to back. Currently Front tires are _10_/32 and Rear Tires are _9_/32. Inspected the brake pads for wear. The front has _10__MM pad life left and the rear has _10__MM Pad/Shoe life left. Brake Inspection and Tire Rotation completed.
    • Air filter dirty black. No leaks found. No other obvious indicators of oil consumption.
    • Duplicated customer concern. Also observed tightness in steering with engine off and truck raised. Steering difficult to turn at wheels. Disconnected intermediate steering shaft and wheels much easier to turn. U-joints on I-shaft rusted tight.
    • Removed and plugged the tire. Now at right rear. Job completed.

    • Replaced all spark plugs besides #7 replaced previously.
    • Found a broken plastic cable retainer for the door handle. plastic is broken. -For window found the motor inoperative.. Switch was giving correct signals to motor integral module. verified power and ground to motor unit. After having unit disassembled and unplugged. Power window started working. Possibly just a reset of the circuit temporarily fixed this. May still have to replace lift motor.

    • Found small nail in LF tire and also leaking around bead. Removed tire from wheel. Removed nail and plugged tire. Cleaned and bead sealed tire.
    • Removed and replaced the front brake pads, rotors and hardware. Cleaned and greased all friction points on the caliper chassis, the guide pins and serviced the calipers pistons. Cleaned the brake rotor mating surface on the hub assembly and applied never seize to prevent rust build up. Secured all bolts and torqued them to spec. Test drove and verified no brake pulsations, grinding, squealing, pulling one way or the other while applying brakes. Job completed.

    • MOUNT AND BALANCE – 3 TIRES – KEEP OLD TIRES IN VEHICLE
    • Test drove vehicle to duplicate concern. Raised vehicle: Front sway bar links good Ball joints good Outer tie rod ends new (missing grease inserts) Lower control arm rear bushings separated from rubber and need replaced to perform alignment. In rear, LH outer tie rod end has some play. Both rear sway bar links have some play also.
    • Both rear lower control arm bushings replaced.

    • Found LF strut broken at top. Will need struts and stabilizer bar end links. Front brakes low. On inspection, less than 2mm remaining. Tires mismatched sizes on car. LR wore to expose belt on inside tread band. Front tires also wearing unevenly wearing out inside much quicker. RR tire ok but wrong size. Recommend replacing tires. Additional inspection with no problems found. All lug nuts swollen and need replaced. Drum brakes in rear measured 3mm good. Almost at 100k. Some fluid maintenance and spark plugs recommended in future.
