- Removed and replaced the front brake pads, rotors and hardware. Cleaned and greased all friction points on the caliper chassis, the guide pins and serviced the calipers pistons. Cleaned the brake rotor mating surface on the hub assembly and applied never seize to prevent rust build up. Secured all bolts and torqued them to spec. Test drove and verified no brake pulsations, grinding, squealing, pulling one way or the other while applying brakes. Job completed.

Mileage101,954Service Date3/12/2024Services Performed- -vehicle in very good condition over-all. -trouble code stored p05B0 for active grill shutter issue. does not turn on ses. issue with a sensor not giving expected data for commanded position. – vehicle leans or rear seems higher then front. nothing found wrong with front springs but found vehicle has rear helper air spriings. -needs wiper blades, split rubber. -all exterior lights tested operational. -exhasut is louder then stock and found cat back aftermarket exhasut system installed. -engine has had an added emissions oil vapor catch can. explain function of this. can be added for oil consumption, preventative for intake valves gumming up, or completely preventative. – throttle body has been recently replaced. -turbos are completely free of leakages. -oil filler has small amount of dark oil or sludge. -no trans or engine oil leaks. a seep around rear of engine oil pan. -rear axle cover gasket with a seep. -ball joints and suspension and steering all test very good with no noted issues. -tires are from 2019 with all even tread wear and around 70% tread life area. -brakes: fronts at 80% pad life. rears will need addressed sometime. gauge the rears at 10to 15% pad life remaining with RR inner the lowest. -4wd tested operational. -ask owner what fluids have been changed. coolant and brake fluid appear newer or clean and clear, ATF definitely needs flush. t-case and rear axles other fluids. -mention vehicle typical issues with other similar models: turbo issues, timing chains and actuators, front springs break, spark plugs and coils.

Operated defrost and ticking also from recirc door. Scanned codes in hvac for same actuator. Disconnected actuator temporarily for testing. All other features continue to work. Also scanned codes for check engine light. Found DTC P0442 evap small leak and P0455 evap large leak. Transmission codes P0877 trans fluid pressure switch 4 circuit low volts and P0989 trans fluid pressure switch 5 circuit low volts.
- Removed and replaced air inlet door actuator. Calibrated system and tested operation.
- at this time p0455 and p0989 reset. monitored trans fluid pressure switch 5 and it remained low for every gear and range. would require more diagnosis to determine if a wire, pressure switch or module problem. p0455 is a large evap leak.

Ran engine and did not get fresh oil after running engine. Advised to continue to monitor oil level between oil changes. Changed oil change service interval to 3000 mile sticker.
