    • check tires. a thump noise when first starting that goes away as tires warm.

    • Rotated tires front to back. Currently Front tires are _7_/32 and Rear Tires are _7_/32. Inspected the brake pads for wear. The front has _7__MM pad life left and the rear has _10__MM Pad/Shoe life left. Brake Inspection and Tire Rotation completed.

    • Found noise coming from top of rack and pinion unit. added a lubricant to input shaft and noise stopped. Likely will return and from the dust seal for input shaft.
    • Removed trim pieces and console items to replace the button assembly. Verified no longer duplicating the heater issue after repairs.
    • U0423-82 stored in hvac module. cleared this code and all other codes. no reset procedures for hvac available on scanner. Diag led to a faulty button and temperature control unit.
