- Removed and replaced the alternator assembly with new one. Function tested and verified the alternator worked fine. Job completed.
- Tested and verified the battery is working fine. The battery was completely drained out. Charged the battery and tested it and the battery is holding charge. Tested the alternator after charging the battery and the alternator was bad. Informed the customer that the part is covered under warranty but the labor warranty is out due to being past the two year warranty time. Customer authorized repair. Diagnostic completed.
