- Diag led to the cooling fan clutch freewheeling during idle operation. fan was commanded on at 75% but fan continued to freewheel and no airflow felt from fan. Verified the ignition power to fan connector and a ground circuit. Advising to replace the coolinig fan electric clutch and reevaluate.
- the cargo light and the third brake light. check all clearance lights also. Test cargo light operation and was able to light both with a power probe. the third brake light was clearly blown and had heat damage to lens and socket. was able to reuse this time. verified third brake light now functioning while testing.
- completed. replaced the cooling fan clutch. verified that the fan no longer freewheels at idle. can hear the fan noise now with ac on. ac now cold at idle while testing.
