- Found noise coming from top of rack and pinion unit. added a lubricant to input shaft and noise stopped. Likely will return and from the dust seal for input shaft.
- Removed trim pieces and console items to replace the button assembly. Verified no longer duplicating the heater issue after repairs.
- U0423-82 stored in hvac module. cleared this code and all other codes. no reset procedures for hvac available on scanner. Diag led to a faulty button and temperature control unit.
