- 1. Lubricate and checked chassis. Changed oil and oil filter. Checked all fluid levels and topped off fluids that needed topped. Checked the tire pressure to 32 PSi. 2. Tire tread depth – LF 7/32, RF 7/32, RR 6/32, LR 6/32. 3. TIRE ROTATION – No, If "No" – Then when? Next service. 4. Preformed basic safety inspection. Job Completed.
- Removed and replaced LR caliper. Cleaned and greased all contact points. Bled the system for air. Test drove to verify brakes worked as they should. Job completed.
- Removed and replaced the front brake pads, rotors and hardware. Cleaned and greased all friction points on the caliper chassis, the guide pins and serviced the calipers pistons. Cleaned the brake rotor mating surface on the hub assembly and applied never seize to prevent rust build up. Secured all bolts and torqued them to spec. Test drove and verified no brake pulsations, grinding, squealing, pulling one way or the other while applying brakes. Job completed.
- Removed and replaced the rear brake pads, rotors and hardware. Cleaned and greased all friction points on the caliper chassis, the guide pins and serviced the calipers pistons. - Test drove around the block and noticed the grinding noise as mentioned by the customer. Removed the wheels and checked the brakes and noticed the front pads are down to 1 MM and the rear ones are down metal to metal. Checked the calipers and the pistons were pushing in on all of them. Recommended the customer to have the pads and rotors replaced. Provided with estimate and customer authorized repairs. Diagnostic completed.
