- Test drove vehicle. Was able to duplicate customer concern in reverse, parking lot maneuvers. Vehicle stops in a straight line. No additional pulling or dragging noticed. On further inspection noted dry hardware on all new brake pads on vehicle. May be original rotors. Recommend checking to see if rotors can be turned and doing a full disc brake caliper service on front and rear of vehicle.
- Removed and replaced the rear brake pads, rotors and hardware. Cleaned and greased all friction points on the caliper chassis, the guide pins and serviced the calipers pistons. Cleaned the brake rotor mating surface on the hub assembly and applied never seize to prevent rust build up. Secured all bolts and torqued them to spec. Test drove and verified no brake pulsations, grinding, squealing, pulling one way or the other while applying brakes. Job completed.
