    • Flushed the complete brake system, and refilled. Performed brake bleeding to verify no air in the system. Test drove and verified the brakes work correctly. Job completed.
    • Put in cooling system cleaner flush solvent to break up any crystallized coolant in the system. Let the truck sit and idle for couple of hours to get the flush solvent worked through the whole system. Drained and refilled the cooling system several times with fresh coolant. Verified the system bled for air and the engine ran fine at normal operating temperature. Verified the cabin heat worked fine. Job completed.

    • (Combination) – CAMSHAFT SPROCKET – Remove & Replace Each
    • Completed. Replaced the engine oil pan gasket, replaced thermostat, replaced serpentine belt, replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses. The engine oil drain plug came out very difficult and found the threads necked at base of bolt. Replaced this during repair and threads in oil pan were in great shape. Replaced the brake switch and wired in a new connector. Verified good operation after repair and shifter could be moved easily each time requested after repair while testing.
    • completed. timing cover gasket leaking at left upper area. Coolant was very rust colored. Sucked out as much old coolant out of engine block as i could. flushed radiator and coolant jug during repairs. Will likely need a coolant flush once a year for a couple times or when the coolant gets rust colored again.
    • Pressure tested cooling system. Confirmed a drip of coolant hitting ground. Traced to right front corner of the timing cover gasket. Advise changing the timing cover gasket, water pump, possibly the timing gears and thermostat at same tiime.
    • verified concern. Found that the shifter was not getting brake input signal at times. Traced issue to the brake switch. Advise replacing the brake switch and reevaluating.
